I got tired of hanging around the house. I got my new tires and an oil change on my adventure car. So off I went on a 300 mile road trip around southeastern California. I used all my cameras including film cams. I have to wait for the film to be developed. The photos of the campground was built in the 1930s!

My tribute to the Truckers across America, and the world over.

All these trucks were stranded due to a bad Santa Ana wind condition. I met many great guys, especially Armando, who is based out of El Paso, Texas. He has at home 5 boys and a wife (she takes care of the home front). He is out maybe 6 days a week and then home for two days and then back out again. He mentioned that to be a "Trucker", one needs a love of the open road, the long drives, and being out seeing America!

I went out to photograph a decayed resort here in eastern San Diego. I looked up the street and saw a bunch of train cars. I decided to go look and see. I met a gentleman that had great stories of the cars here.I'm glad I took the time to check it out!

In Southern California, at the Salton Sea, there was a dream in the 1950s or 1960s to build a dream vacation spot. The rich and famous bought into the dream. Fast forward, as the Salton Sea receded due to evaporation, there is just poverty and ruins. I can imagine the hopes and dreams of folks who came here.
